Remember last week? Pastor Kerry shared that her family vacations: they would enter into a Ford LTD Country Squire Station wagon, 17 feet long, robin’s egg blue with the wood panel trim, Luggage in the second seat and instead of putting the seats out in the back … Pastor Kerry and her brother would be have camping mats …
- We took no luggage… Each of us was given a plastic bag to have two changes of clothes… When we would arrive at family stops along the way … when we started to get out of that little car, we looked like a family of circus clowns … people just kept coming out… We loved the trip … and to this day will laugh and giggle and remember the moments when dad lost his temper when he missed an interstate exit in New York… and my brothers and I not believing we fit in that tiny car… My mom kept us all alive … I love my mom! Happy Mother’s Day mom! (I hope you can whisper the same message… to the women who have helped you survive!)
