We do our best to care for the needs of people with the same kind of love, compassion and care that our Lord Jesus would demonstrate. We:
- Provide scripture and prayer to members before surgery
- Visit the hospitalized and the homebound
- Provide meals during recuperation
- Provide counseling and prayerful support
- Response to crisis situations with urgency.
Our church believes in the importance of prayer so that Sunrise can be a true “House of Prayer.” Although caring for the spiritual, emotional and physical health of Sunrise members is the primary responsibility of the Pastoral Care Department, every aspect of the Sunrise Ministry is driven by a loving and caring Christ-like Spirit. It is that loving, caring Spirit that attracts people to Sunrise where they feel welcomed and accepted.
