A Study of the Book of Judges

In danger of losing the "promised land," the Israelites are delivered again and again by God through leaders known as "judges."  God's amazing patience and long-suffering are no better demonstrated than during this unsettled period covered by the Book of Judges.  God's Spirit enabled people to accomplish feats of victory in the Lord's war against the powers that threaten His kingdom.  Similarly, this same Spirit poured out of the church following Jesus' resurrection empowered Christ's church to begin the task of preaching the Gospel to all nations and advancing the kingdom of God (See Acts 1).

This is a praying group.  We spend some time each week in class determining the prayer needs of members.
