June 23 - 27, 2008

We're hosting 2 sessions:  9:00 - 12:00pm at Briargate, and 5:00 - 8:00pm at the Briargate Campus of Sunrise Church

VBS Leader Update

This year's VBS is sure to be the best yet!  We have several key leaders in place, but still have many opportunities to serve available during the morning and/or evening session.   You may choose to work one session or both.   Some key areas where we need volunteers include:

Recreation

Group Shepherds

Preschool Teachers

Kindergarten Teachers

Discovery (Science) Lab

Drama/Storytellers

Decorators

Work-at-home helpers (cutting, preparing materials)

Missions

We can never have too many hands helping with this major event.  If you would like to serve in one of these areas, or have an idea for another way to share your talents, please contact Sharilyn Barteld at 266-8265 or grassynole@aol.com.

Sunrise Kids Sunday School

Sunday School

Sunday School takes place during each worship service. The schedule is as follows:

Woodmen Campus

Saturday Evening

Woodmen 6:00 pm is the FX - the Family Experience. Children should proceed into worship with their parents for a dynamic, interactive worship experience.  Children will leave worship during the message for a special Children's Time, and will return to their families for the close of service.

Sunday Morning

Woodmen 10:00 am. Children should check in at the Children's Counter and proceed into worship with their parents.

Briargate Campus

Sunday Morning 9:00 am

Children should report to check-in table in the Atrium and proceed directly to their classrooms upstairs. Classroom information is available at the Children's check-in table in the Atrium.

Sunday Morning 10:30 am

Children should check-in at the table in the Atrium and proceed into worship with their parents.  Children will be dismissed following Children's Time, and should be picked up in their classrooms upstairs following worship.
